3D is WAY Better

the 3D is a lot better on the blu-ray compared to the television.
and, i also have a digital copy that i downloaded before the dvd/blu-ray release and the television release.
my digital copy is a lot better than the one that was on television (for the 3D that is).

so, it is recommended to get the blu-ray, maybe dvd.
i have yet to see the quality on dvd.
