Does anyone know what book Paul G. was reading from in the beginning? The chapter was labeled, "the secret lives of monsters."

It's a book with gravures from Odilon Redon.
In the Museum of Modern Art in New York there was a expo called "Beyond the Visible: The Art of Odilon Redon" circa 2005/2006, I think.
You can find images easily on the web (google it) like "THE EGG".
I will try to find such book in Europe (where I live).
