What movie is Nina watching whe she rents the Giamatti movie? is it the same with the one on dvd which Paul discovers on her bed. And if it's not the same what movie is that also?

I'm pretty sure it's a made-up film with that scene shot specifically for Cold Souls. Just note that Paul Giamatti looks exactly the same in that picture as he does in CS, with his beard of exactly the same length.
BTW, the name of that DVD movie is translated from Russian as Moonlight in Manhattan.

Thanks for that translation! I find it strange they didn't reference actual Paul Giamatti films, but there were probably copyright issues.
He did look exactly the same in that fake clip. They didn't have a mention of other films in the credits, so I assumed that scene was filmed for this movie.
