Why did Lil' Mago get on that train?
I watched the movie twice and still cannot figure out why Lil Mago got on the train and put a gun to Sayra's (Saida?) head. What did I miss?

shareA couple scenes before they jump the train, the gang is walking across that big bridge and Lil Mago is telling them they'll need more money in order to defeat their rival gang. They jump the train to steal money - it's a good ol fashioned train robbery, but in central america.
shareThanks for responding tobiaswelk.
It just seems to me that Lil Mago was specifically looking for Saida and that is what I don't understand. She is penniless and surely Lil Mago would know that about most of the train "passengers."
Hey EPKRA, I don't think he was looking for her - he was systematically holding everybody on the train up, and she just stood out as being a pretty young girl, so he figured he might as well get something to go with the money he took.
shareHe was there to rob the migrants. He put the gun to her head in order to terrify her. His intentions were, so to speak, less than honourable.
shareYeah, less than honorable is right. If you pay attention to the scene you'll notice that he assumed every single person on the train was carrying money. He put the gun to Sayra's head before that to terrify her as well as to hopefully pressure her in case she was holding out on him. Then he used her to taunt Willy, by saying she'd make a good replacement for Martha Marlene.
"Hey Casper! Look at this pretty girl! Like a little Salma Hayek!"
