i just saw the first 8 minutes before deleting it, here are my thoughts.

first, i'm soooo glad i didn't pay money to see this in a theater, cos i would be so pissed off for wasting my time.
second, it's incredibly bad, just like all other Bulgarian movies, except Eastern Plays.

so, to sum up: Eastern Plays is good, go watch that instead.

Methinks you exaggerate a tad. First off it's not that bad and secondly if you pirated the movie you should have probably at least had a little more patience than 8 minutes for god's sake. The movie does not pick up steam until the middle.

Secondly, your second comment betrays your ignorance. There are quite a lot of Bulgarian movies that are masterpieces and although unknown to most of the average hollywood-bedazzled audiences stand head and shoulders above the top grossing ones if you are looking for substance and not cheap CGI eye-candy.

Go take a look at Time of Violence (Vreme Razdelno) 1987, or The Goat's Horn -1972 (I think). If you still think that these are bad movies then there is something wrong with you.

How do you expect a guy can sit through five hours of Time Of Violence when he cannot even handle eight minutes of Mission London? Just thinking loud here ..

reply

heheh...that's a good point.

the guy below you says a lot more, you suck as a viewer, you should of given this movie more than 8 minutes. Actually you know what, I should of stopped reading your comment after I saw the first sentence, 8 minutes.... you're a troll and an as*hole at that.... go eat a d*ck up

giving 8min to a 1:30h movie does not allow it to show its potential.
Even Uwe Bowl movies need at least 30min before you stop/delete it.

Mission London is a great an entertaining movie, one of the new trend in Bulgarian cinema. Although it appears as a B-type movie to anybody used to Holliwood productions, it is still a great step forward for our cinema

Which is not helping the movie for being an incredibly bad stinker. I'm sorry, I've watched the full 90 min. of the movie and I have read the book too.
The book is pretentious and dull. The movie is simply stupid and extremely pretentious (you really should watch the extras in the blu-ray, when Dimiter Mitovski is explaining which chef-d-oevre they have created. It's the only hilarious thing about this movie, do believe me.
The plot is stupid and fabricated. The so called jokes are not funny and predictable. The movie (and the book) is full of every damn cliches one can number. It is just B-movie, shot with higher (to the Bulgarian standards!) budget.

I hope Mitovski won't be given the chance to do another shame movie.
