did you just view this 9/29/10 on Chiller?

I just saw this on the Chiller channel and I'm very disappointed. I'm wondering if all the commercials cut out key scenes. It seems like it had so much potential to be much more. I'm not so disappointed that it wasn't particularly scary, just dispappointed that it seemed to make little sense. Would love to hear comments from others.

Well, darn. Got side-tracked and looked away during the last few minutes and totally missed the conclusion. So, how did it end? I'd sure like to get some resolution after what was basically two hours of relative boredom! Thx.

Spoiler Alert
I'm still confused. It seems that Tyler was the owner of the museum that Beth went to in Salem. After killing off the family friend and seriously wounding the Dad, Tyler tries to persuade the boy to give up his soul and his parents would be spared by the "Devil's Mercy". I think the blonde girl was Tyler's daughter and Tyler made the same deal with the devil by collecting souls thus permitting he and his daughter to live. This could have been a much better movie. I would be curious what others have to say.

I DVR'd this from Chiller from, I believe, that date...watched this morning & nodded off a few times! The ending with the possessed boy I didn't get...

The movei is just too slow & boring to give a rewatch. Comes off more 'Lifetime Channel' then 'Chiller Channel'!

I would love to hear about this movie from someone who saw it without all the commercial interuptions. Chiller which I saw it on too, probably had to cut so much. I was kind of hoping that it was so bad because of all the chopping. Disappointing because it was kind of an interesting story. At least you got to sleep, I watched the whole thing.

It's on Chiller again...

I have to say, the dream sequency thingy *rocked*

That sequence saw the border between trashy and comically bad and boldly crossed it!

I remember when Stephen Rea was in The Crying Game. What happened???

I spent a lot of the film trying to figure out how his fake American accent compared to those of other English/Scottish/Irish/Welsh actors. I guess he should get points for trying. Sean Connery would have just played him with a Scottish accent.
