This movie was made in 2008?....really?

...because it looks like it was made in 1978 as a made for television production. Some of the most amazing and effective horror movies have relied on total suspense without gore and CG I to create a chilling atmosphere of dread and terror. Classics such as Rosemary's Baby, Don't Look Now, and The Others easily come to mind. But this boring snooze fest certainly is not in that league. This was recently shown, apparently a repeat, on chiller. What a low point in the otherwise brilliant acting career of Stephen Rhea. Yes he has made some other questionable film choices but none as uneventful and dreary as this one. The film also manages to assemble some of the most non-charismatic American actors on film.

So agree.

Especially re: Stephen Rea.

When he is good, he is very, very good.

However, sadly, there have been a few films he has chosen to be in that aren't good (this being one of them) and that he seems to be sleepwalking through.

The only reason I watched this film was because he was in it, so thought I would give it a chance.

Very disappointed, especially for an actor that gave such an absolutely brilliant performance in 'Citizen X'.
