I find this movie too disgusting to watch...
...what with all manner of things, namely the stuff the old woman does, namely:
- Sucking on a sweet noisily and coughing up phlegm
- Her blind eye
- Her wrapping her lips around the Loan Officer's mouth sans false teeth
- The Lamia in her form vomiting bugs into the LO's mouth
- The dead corpse of the old woman vomiting decomposing putrefaction fluid into the LO's mouth
- That damn housefly
- The heavy object falling on the Lamia's head making her eyeball enter the LO's mouth
Basically, there's a lot of mouth action here, and I find that sort of horror particularly bad, when it's nasty stuff.
However, I did find the seance rather funny, with the posessed man coughing up the cat and the talking goat, and the general insanity of it. But I just cannot get past the mouth stuff, it's too much. And yes, I know Evil Dead 2 did the flying eyeball as well.
