She was dead and the kid too

I think the Lamia needs that the person should be dead before drag the soul to hell, in the case of the kid he fell from the balcony and in the case of Christine I think the train killed her, the Lamia leads the haunted person to dead, then after that it will send the soul to hell.

I agree. As the Lamia says (of Christine's soul) "we will feast on it as she festers in the grave."

However, it is clear that both San Dena (in the boy's case) and Clay (in Christine's case) saw a "vision" of the hell dragging (in each case, there is no indication that anyone else present sees what they see). In San Dena's case it is probably due in part to her psychic powers.

Going from memory here but why did her bf look extra shocked as if he was seeing something that should be impossible to see like someone getting sucked into hell? Also, why not blood on his face from her being struck by the train? I mean he looked petrified, I know you'd probably be horrifed seeing someone get stuck by a train in front of you (I've seen someone get struck by a car), so yeah it's bad but he looked like he saw something unimaginable. Then minus the blood on him which there should have been. Her being dragged wouldn't since it was just burning.

The movie assumes that spiritual events are not necessarily "impossible to see". In other words, Clay saw a vision.

Why would there be blood on his face? The impact would carry any splatter, forward, and the body of the train would shield Clay from any splatter than somehow went backwards.

Yes. He sees the helldragging. He sees a vision. As did San Dena ("I lost a boy's SOUL to be Beast").

Not every day you see someone get ran over by a train. His reaction was completely normal.

reply

I think it's implied that he saw her get dragged to hell.

The way he looks at the button and then at where she was on the tracks gives me the idea that he saw exactly what happened.

That hexagon-face bitch, she's so passive-aggressive.
