does anyone remember An Unmarried Woman?

It's from 1978, was nominated for a bunch of oscars. reminds me of this.

"Erica seems to have it all - a comfortable home, an interesting job in a Manhattan art galley, a bright teenage daughter, and a loving, successful husband. Then, suddenly, her life is shattered. Her "perfect" husband walks out, and she is left frightened and alone to face the chancy singles world. How does a vital, contemporary woman pick up the pieces and start over?"

"Go back to Jersey, sonny. This is the city of angels and you haven't got any wings."

I think the differences outweigh the similarities. This is a satire and a comedy, and it's much more about a particular milieu than "An Unmarried Woman."

What it reminds me of more is "Irreconcileable Differences" where Shelley Long is a screenwriter and her director husband (and collaborator) Ryan O'Neal ditches her for his starlet muse Sharon Stone. They also have one little girl, he also crashes and burns, his new woman too leaves him the minute his career starts going south.
