A 21st Century version of Network?

You know, that 1976 movie with Faye Dunaway and William Holden? Oh wait, most people that were fans of that movie are dead or in the nursing home now, LOL. But yeah, it was pretty decent

network is a classic that is timeless, this... no

I was probably a baby when Network came out. First time I saw the whole thing, I didn't think it was bad.

The best parts of this film can't compare to the parts of Network left on the cutting room floor. This was a chaotic mess of a movie. Unfocused, incredulous character development, and way too many peppy pop songs to hide the fact that it was failing to earn any real emotional response.

Sorry. I'm as mad as hell that I saw this movie, and I'm not going to take this any more.

I do agree with your comment about failing to get an emotional response. I laughed a bit, but I didn't feel any kind of emotional connection with the characters, which is usually easy for me.

NO.

This movie is the closest thing to Network's perfect opposite I can think of.
