Piece of crap movie, don't watch it

From the trailer and description I was looking forward to a comedy about two warring anchors played by legends Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton, with the great Jeff Goldblum thrown in too. Instead I got this unfunny, boring piece of crap about an annoying anorexic flat chested workaholic loser, that dragged on for almost 2 hours with nothing entertaining or meaningful happening. What a waste of Harrison Ford's talent, and what a waste of my time. This movie is absolute crap, do not watch it.

I couldn't agree more. You're absolutely right abount this movie. It was so, so boring... Rachel McAdams was so irritating... Not event D. Keaton & H. Ford can save this movie. An absolute waste of time, unfortunately.

reply

I couldn't agree less. It was not the greatest movie ever, but it was not that bad. And the OP's description of Rachel McAdams is pure unadulterated garbage. She looks fine in it.

reply

I enjoyed his movie very much. A cute comedy with heart is how I would describe it. It made me smile and entertained me. Never entered my mind someone would take this so seriously. I watch movies for enjoyment and as an escape from reality. This movie delivered that for me.

Glad to see someone else with good taste graces these boards. I'll ignore the other poster with the poor eyesight and penchant for garbage.

reply

Wasn't crap, but also failed to achieve what it was trying to. Very predictable resolution and highly unrealistic and implausable throughout.

reply

I agree with SKS, obviously not a great movie and had some stupid aspects to it, but as a freebie on a dull night (Amazon Prime) it was fine. Geeze, look at the run of the mill trash that Hollywood puts out; it's about in the middle of the pack.

reply

This movie is horrendous. I agree - STAY AWAY.

reply

I disagree with most of your comments but I do agree that it would have been fun to see more of Harrison and Keaton bickering. That was classic.

reply

That is an insult to well-meaning pieces of crap everywhere. How they roped old-school talents Diane Keaton and Harrison Ford into this – as well as contemporary shining stars Rachel McAdams and Patrick Wilson – speaks volumes about how out of touch Hollywood has become. Practically every line and every scene in this film made me cringe, and not in the "good" way.

I thought this was going to be a piece of crap movie - I avoided watching it for so long but last night, I finally thought I'd give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. That's right, I said GREAT!

I actually love this! Reminds me of those corny heartfelt movies I enjoyed as a teen, like When Harry met Sally and Pretty Woman. It's got a bit of humor in it but nothing over the top.

This movie is just light, fluffy, a bit of fun and nothing to be taken seriously.

Pleasant, inoffensive but entirely predictable movie. Diane Keaton's talents totally wasted. Way, way overboard on the perkiness factor.

This movie was perfect light and funny!!! Don't know what you other guys were watching!!! . . ("The Haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate.... I'm just gonna shake it off, shake it off")
