'Boomtown meets CSI'... thats a bad thing tho...

right?

I don't think so.

I enjoyed Boomtown and seeing the same event(s) from different players perspectives.

Problem with Boomtown was the viewer had to pay attention, that is a major hurdle in todays world. And it took more than one show to get a feel for how the show worked.

Boomtown asked too much of the viewer.

It's a shame Boomtown was not given the chance to mature.

I think it is a great idea, especially for British TV.
All the great hi-tech crime shows are from the US - Boomtown, CSI etc.
And what have we got - A Touch of Frost, The Bill?
British crime shows are nothing compared to US TV but hopefully this will help change things

Don't agree, this was no good but WAKING THE DEAD and SILENT WITNESS are as good as CSI or LAW AND ORDER in my opinion.
One of the problems with this programme was that it was trying to be like an American drama.

I love CSI/LAW AND ORDER/LAW AND ORDER SVU but I am not an American and sometimes want to watch something that has some connection with the society I live in.

Mentioning A TOUCH OF FROST of course makes people think that British cop are all rubbish but that is unfair I think.
