Ordering and eating fried baloney sandwiches?

I used to watch this every time I found it on TV. It's great - great story, great acting, the pole dancing babe was absolutely gorgeous, and it's a sad story. One of a guy who had fame and some fortune and is trying to find it again.

It's sad, too, when you hit bottom and have to do the lowest of the low like working behind the cold cut counter to make a few nickels, which brings me to a question. Customers were ordering everything from potato salad to cold chicken to cold cuts. Randy was doing a good job, staying as positive as he could, trying to make his job reasonably sane and happy while entertaining the customers.

But what I'm wondering is with so much baloney being handed to customers, could they have been eating all of that as cold cuts or fried baloney sandwiches?

The question is valid because it does make a difference how folks eat baloney.
