And so continues the annoying trend of naming sequels after the first movie in a series, just to confuse people even more.
shareAlso the dopey trend of either removing or adding the word "The" from the title of the original movie when making a sequel. Like Batman and The Batman, Final Destination to The Final Destination, or conversely, The Fast and the Furious to Fast and Furious.

shareSo stupid. I loved Halloween 2018 but I can’t believe that no one who worked on it could think of an actual title. Nor did anyone seem to think that basically not giving it a title at all was a bad idea. And now this movie and the upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre film are doing the same. Pretty asinine to say the least.
It’s funny because they probably think that using a title like “Returns” or “The Next Chapter” or something would be cheesy and unoriginal. But literally ANYTHING would be better than just calling it the same name as the first film. I never cared for the title of H20 but at least they didn’t just call it Halloween again, which would have been much worse.
Give it a proper title you unimaginative asshats!
