Is it me, or could Jo Jo be Erin Karpluk ('Erica Strange')'s daughter

I thought she WAS a young Erin Karpluk, until I just looked it up just now. Based on the appearance of Shenae Grimes, I thought this might be a Canadian product (will go back and check that now), which just made me more (incorrectly) sure.
