Spoilers Big question

It's been mentioned in here but not discussed and it's a huge question:

1)Who finds the papers at the start, which are the ones in the bag floating at the end? Someone random who will find the way back to the village? Or someone from the film?

2). also, what is the significance of the comments of "my beloved", "she's perfect" etc?

1. It was the rest of the group whos job was to set the borders. Member Erik told the girl to go find them.

2. I dont recall these being said in the film. Ill have to watch it again.
