Very poor movie

I say skip it. It's a waste of time. The movie is very, very poor, boring and... senseless. It could have been much better, but unfortunately, it isn't a low-budget film... It's a very low-budget film. There are only two thing that make people watch this movie: 1) the title 2) Joe Mantegna.
So, my advice for those who haven't seen it is to pick another movie.

How, exactly, is a movie that cost $1.35M a "very" low budget film?

Like what, bighead? Recommend something with a similar budget.

I say...watch it. This is a very GOOD movie. Well acted, interesting concept. I love it when people like aletannu (the person who started this thread) wave people off from even watching it. You will NOT be wasting your time. ALL the cast are very good, as is the writing and direction. See for yourself!! (By the way, I review movies for a chain of radio stations. I get sick of people who summarily dismiss "decent" movies...this one deserves your full look.)

I second what rogercg1 said, although reviewing movies for a radio station doesn't make you an expert, it just means you get paid for what anyone who has half a brain and watches a lot of movies can do, no offense. I enjoyed the movie. It didn't blow me away but the acting was good enough to get you invested in the characters. I never found myself waiting for the movie to end.

I agree. Something about it was just off. The acting is good, especially Mantegna.

I thought the premise was a bit ridiculous...that Harry would take Billy under his wing after he tried to kill him. But there was an interesting twist to that at the very end.

And, you would not be diagnosed with cancer on your first visit to the doctor as Harry was. Numerous tests, CAT scans, etc, would be required to make that determination.

When Racquel told the doctor at the end of the movie that Harry had died, the doctor didn't express any surprise. Despite the fact that Harry was not in such an advanced (bed-ridden) state of cancer that he would die from it so soon.

Also, why would Fuller bring Billy back to "finish the job" if there was already another hit man on site to do the same thing?

Maybe someone can clear this up, but why did Harry leave the gun on the rooftop after the failed hit? Was this an oversight or intentional?

This isn't a bad movie, but I would agree with its rating here on IMDb and rate it as slightly below average.
