Creepy?

Does anyone else find it a little creepy that this program is instilling in our children the idea that it's ok that the government has spy equipment in your home watching you? They are only interested in finding out what your problems are so they can help you, right? Privacy in our homes isn't important. We should all accept this as normal.

I am a big ANTI-GOVT person, but no, I never found it "creepy" that the gov't was spying on us because I never really confirmed that Oso is working for the Gov't and not some quasi-militaristic entity outside of Gov't influences.....
Also, it's hard for me to determine whether Oso is doing it officially or during his personal time since he is always interrupting a training mission to help a child!

OK...this is going to come as a shock to some of you...but the show is for...brace yourself...very small children.

Perhaps it's too intellectual for some to understand that. :D

It would be quite expensive for the little lady-bug things or whatever to spy on every single kid in the entire world, and there are only so many hours in the day, assuming there are not multiple Osos.

Since everyone involved in the episodes always knows who Oso is and is not all that surprised by his presence, the Oso service has to be purchased by the parents. So the spying would be consentual, and Oso can be Johnny-on-the-spot and show up whenever their adorable little moppets need to learn what a spoon is.

I think the bigger problem it instills is government waste is acceptable. After all, Oso breaks multi-million dollar equipment during his training sessions in every single episode and yet he never gets fired.
