Anyone else find the animation to be lazy?

My niece watches this show and while it has positive messages, I think the animation seems very lazy, mostly with the characters. It almost seems as if all of the human characters have the same base model and the details are just added.
I remember growing up with shows in which the creators had enough care to make the characters unique and it saddens me to see such laziness.
