Having just watched this,and not being versed in either japanese or chinese,found it absolutely amazing.
shareCould be because the director researched thousands of historical photos and some scenes (like the refugees/POWs staring into the camera as Japanese solidiers took private photos for souvenirs/keep-sakes) are almost "replicated" shot-for-shot.
Why do people who don't care keep telling other people not to care?
