DVD?!
I really want to see this movie, but it's not available on Amazon on DVD, except through external individual sellers, and there is a blu-ray that is 40 dollars.
Can someone explain this to me?

You only need a multi-region player because it's a Hong Kong R3
It is available from Kino International www.kino.com and type "City of Life and Death" on the Search engine (or call 1-800-562-3330). It is available on 2-Disc DVD Special Edition and on 2-Disc Blu-ray/DVD combo. DVD is $20.97 and the Blu-ray is $27.97 plus shipping.
