Which parts did you cry?

I didn't actually cry, but at the following parts of the movie I was seriously choking back tears:

1. When the captured Chinese soldiers yelled "Long Live China!" and "China will not perish!" before they were killed at the beach.

2. When Mr. Tang's daughter was thrown out the window by a Japanese soldier.

3. When the 100 women slowly volunteered themselves one by one to be comfort women, starting with Xiao Jiang.

One of the saddest films I've ever seen inside a theatre.

I was also fighting tears when Kadakawa visits the Japanese comfort woman the first time and sobs on her shoulder rather than try to have intercourse again... heartbreaking. And of course when he sees her several more times through the course of the film... yep, I cried big time.

I cried during the 1st and 3rd scenes you listed. During the 1st scene there were lots of tears, but that 3rd scene had me just bawling. I don't remember the last time I cried so hard to a movie before.
The daughter scene was just one of those scenes that made my jaw drop; I was too shocked to cry.
