For some reason Infected seems like a watered down...

"V" (the visitors for those not in the know), it was a 80's T.V. show/mini-series about Aliens covered in "human" skin/flesh, when ripped shows underneath their true form. But I digress, lets look at the similarities so far. V had 2 reporters (man and woman) who had a close relationship, just like "infected". Conspiracy to undermine and subjugate the humans was along the same idea. In "V" the visitors controlled the police and other areas of power and control, "Infected" is similar, however from what I have seen so far, they do not have humans that know about them working with them for their means. And as well, "V" had a alien who was a sympathizer to humans ("Willy" played by Robert (Freddy K.) Englund) as does "Infected" mind you "infected" is forced to suffer a a "sensitive" "child-like" Judd Nelson... and this is only less then 30 mins into the film. Will add anything more I find when done watching
