According to High Def Digest and Amazon the release date for the DVD and Blu Ray is August 11. Here's the link for the Blu Ray:

did i read that right?? the DVD and Bluray are the same price??

Funny, I didn't notice that. Maybe it's just something they're doing on Amazon? It comes up on Best Buy too, but only for the DVD ($24.99).

Note that the DVD & Blu-Ray released today, 08/11/08 which also happens
to be the peak night of the annual Perseid meteor shower. Watch the film
and you'll see the significance. Heh, I have to wonder if this was intentional
or just a happy coincidence. A really enjoyable film, btw. I'm an old guy
who grew up in the 50's and 60's watching the old sci fi films in our
neighborhood second run theater. Alien Trespass takes me back to those days
with a high quality, very well done homage. Every single detail looks exactly
as I remember that time period. Great fun!
