Reminded me of 'It Came From Outer Space'
Not the whole movie but parts of it reminded me of "It Came From Outer Space."
Did anyone else feel the same?
Beginning was very similar. Also if ya have the DVD look closely at the credits, I remember at least one "sound or sound effect/music" was from Creature from the black lagoon. I am sure there were others.
I liked the kids being eaten at the theater as they were watching the blob, eating kids at the theater.....
It came from outer Space is one of my favorites, as is This Island Earth, Kronos, It the terror...., Fiend w/o a face, war of the worlds, Black Scorpion,,,,,,,,.....
Hell I liked almost all of the 50's flix even Attack Of The Crab Monsters.

shareGiant Claw is a strange one. They went over budget on the regular production costs & when it was time for special effect they were out of cash. Jeff, Mara & Morris played it straight expecting to be in something like Earth vs The Flying Saucers & were annoyed by he puppet vs stop motion effects. I think I heard this on TCM from Ben Mankowitz, but it was years ago.....
It has been a long time since I saw it & checking the IMDB page Jeff Morrow, Mara Corday & Morris Ankrum I had forgot about the 1st 2!!
I will have to watch it again just for the cast but I do remember the bids eggs being shot up & egg embryo flying & I felt bad for the bird like in alien resurection when the cute alien is sucked inside out into space, just kidding I did not mind thaat thing being killed but the big bird was just trying to have a live. I am pretty sure thats why I never watched it again, but i will dig it up.
