have you read the book it's based on "Society Within" by Courtia Newland? it was heavy. Haven't seen the show yet.

There was a similar drama based in the urban scene of London, that was aired last year on bbc2 on a late Saturday night..it was called THE PLAGUE. Now that was pretty entertaining..

I completely agree- I think Noel Clarke's a great actor but that's what he should stick to (yes I know it's an adaptation). It all seemed so fake and not one of the characters was actually likeable! I'm sure the BBC could do urban drama much better than this!

I saw it, thought it was quite good even though the style of filing was a bit too "youth". All the characters at the start who have their name titles become main characters in their own narratives in the book. Comparing shows to "the wire" etc is a bit unfair, this is just a pilot, it's a young cast etc, if they made a series it would probably be better.
