I enjoyed the Christmas special. My favourite quotes were:
"I go to the youth centre and give out presents dressed as you know who...Princess Deearna" "Quick! Somebody call nine hundred and ninety nine!" "Is it an XBOX? It's better than a box!"
Oh, and how could I forget Britain's loudest man Derek Bannister?
I had never heard of this guy before, but I spent Christmas in England and happened to catch the Xmas Special and laughed until I cried. Would love to see them import this guy to the U.S.
"We're building a Starbucks inside of Starbucks so you don't have to leave to go to Starbucks!"
I wouldn't like him to get bogged down with any repetitive catchphrases like the dreaded Catherine Tate and the now tedious Little Britain. Pete's strength is constant innovation and absurd humour. I like his one-off sketches that arrive from nowhere, like Robot-Hunter, as well as the spot-on documentary and lifestyle TV parodies.
As long as we get more Butterfield it should be good.
