OMG IT broke my heart when

Elizabeth died. I really liked her character but I knew once she died it was going to Lucy. But i wanted Elizabeth to keep her baby so bad.

Heath Ledger Come Back,
This isn't funny, at all.

Your spoiler in this post has a typo sweetie. But I agree, I would have liked her and Sam to have a better ending, but even if it had to happen I would have at least liked him to know.

Hey tell me, is it stalking if I follow her like all the way home without her knowing?

as a father, it kinda disappointed me that samuel never gets to find out he became a daddy again....

reply

Me too. I was disappointed that Samuel never got to find out. I was also hoping that Elizabeth's father (David Morse), would have been notified or gotten involved somehow.

I also wanted to know what happened to the neighbour. They never showed if the neighbour's wife found the underwear in her drawer. I wished we had gotten some closure on that as well.

This is my signature and I'm sticking to it. lol

It should be against the law to use "LOL" unless you really did LOL!

I know! It was so sudden and surprising.

I was NOT expecting it. Even in the last shot, with her eyes open and head on the pillow. When they pulled over the sheet, I became very depressed. What a tragic figure. "Almost like Jenny in 'Forrest Gump,'" I thought. So it was interesting to see in the trivia section that Robyn Wright (Jenny) was orignaly cast in the part.

I question the need to put Spoiler marks all over a posting on a movie (unless it's a spoiler about a different movie than the message board is about). If someone who hasn't seen the movie comes on a message board about the movie, they want it to be spoiled for them.

Not true! There are plenty of threads that don't spoil the movie for anyone, such as those talking about the incredible acting, whether people liked it or not, etc. that people read to get an idea whether they would like to see the moviel. That's why there is a convention on IMDB to put "spoiler" in the title of threads that contain a spoiler. Conventions that are in place should be honored.

Nahh, this convention is redundant and pointless. If you haven't seen something then you'd be foolish to go on a message board about it because major plot points can be spoiled just by reading the titles of threads. If you're smart, then to just read reviews to decide whether something is worth seeing, you can go to rottentomatoes.com. Right now I'm watching a popular show that aired a few years ago and I've been tempted to come on the boards to discuss a couple things but didn't because I still have several seasons to go and don't want any major plot points to be spoiled, which they inevitably would be.

Again, the exception would be if you're making a comparison or cross-reference to another movie or TV show. No one would be expecting you to mention this other show and if you're giving away a big secret about it then you should include a spoiler.

Review sites, by nature, tell you just enough to give you a sense of the quality of a film and its basic premise. On message boards, people discuss the entire story in detail. So no one in his right mind would read these if he doesn't expect things to get spoiled. The other reason why it's redundant is that the thread titles usually already imply that major plot points will be discussed, even without the "spoiler" disclaimer, e.g. "What did you think of the ending!!!????" If you hadn't seen it, you'd be ridiculous to click on it just to type out, "I haven't seen it yet but thanks for asking." Obviously if you read that thread you're going to find out the ending.

The first time I saw this film it really depressed me. I can honestly say that I didn't see it coming and I remember I actually said "What the f-ck?" at the screen when it happened. Naomi really did a great job.

You're either playing dumb, or it's not an act.
