I have to admit, before this movie I was not much of a fan of Ling Bai, but holy smokes! She is absolutely amazing in this movie. She totally blew me in this movie (that's an in joke, by the way). She was so good, I missed the scenes she wasn't in. A real tour-de-force turn by her in this movie.

Bai Ling looked all skin and bones, and was annoying as hell. She's a good sport though, for taking the role in the first place.
Uh, I'm not attracted to "anorexic twits", no. However, I did think she did an amazing job in this movie. It was a difficult role, which took a lot of courage. The character is very nasty and looks like hell and that took guts to do. Plus, she was funny as hell.

Well, Ling is not a whore, so that's acting. She isn't a crack whore, that's acting. Every line she gave was hilarious. Her broken accent was hilarious. Her physical comedy was spot-on and extremely funny. Enlightened?

She is a great actress for the roles she is in, but I can't see her support a high budget film on her own. I just wish she would put on some weight, because she is way too skinny.
I'm not really concerned about her weight, or whether she could support a big budget film on her own. I just know that she did a good job in this film.

Way too skinny? Compared to who? Compared to what standard? She is thin, but that is in part due to her body type - she's just never going to be a thick person. She will always be small and petite - that's just the way it is, and I seriously doubt if she's anorexic or doesn't eat enough. Have you ever seen Sonya Thomas, "The Black Widow" competition eater in person? I have - she's tiny, but by her own admission she does nothing to maintain her weight. She trains to power eat by eating, so it's not really a matter of whether or not she is trying to be skinny because she isn't.
I thought Bai Ling was funny BTW.
Anytime you see the whole outline of your shoulder bones, or your knees damn near knock whenever you walk, or you look like your arms are double jointed when you are just standing still, you are too skinny IMO.
