Reminded me of Run Lola Run (of all things)

I haven't seen the first Crank movie, but watching this over the weekend, I kept flashing back to that German arthouse hit of a decade ago - it has a similar hyperkinetic, cartoonish style. I liked it quite a lot. A welcome change of pace from formulaic action movies.

Yeah i see the resemblance as well...except RLR wasnt as sleazy....and the runner didnt *beep* amy smart...but that woulda been great...
