Amazing Soundtrack
Just loved it. Anyone went and search for it?
shareI checked at the "Soundtrack Collector" site and couldn't find it, nor online :(
's a pity; I just about went ape when I saw 'Music - Naoki Sato' in the opening credits; people heard my "squeeee~!" halfway across the hall XD
"I have no idea whatsoever"
yep, it is good. i hate how that one particular song was used way too much...there wasnt much variety.
he also did the music for the anime series Eureka Seven (same studio also, bones studio), which also has amazing music.
Naoki Sato is an awesome composer. My favorite score of his is for the X TV series (his first anime work), but Sword of the Stranger is amazing too. I'm in the process of watching Eureka Seven (I'm about half way through), and I'm pretty pleased with his work on that series as well. Hopefully someday he'll come to where I live for a convention...

Paprika - An Anime by Satoshi Kon and Studio Madhouse.
Paprika. This is your brain on anime.
I liked it a lot too but did it remind anyone else of a part of Braveheart's soundtrack? Not quite a rip-off but pretty close.
shareHah, yes! xD
About halfway through the movie I was suddenly thinking about Braveheart. Must've been the music.
"Worship me or I'll torture you forever"
-Your loving God.
One of the themes actually reminded me of Pirates of the Caribbean, but with a more epic feeling.
shareOh yes, naoki Sato did a brilliant job in this movie. You can get it from here http://bakabt.me/140074-sword-of-the-stranger-original-soundtrack.html
shareYou are very right! Aganai no Yuki and its variations all send shivers down my spine.
shareJust realized that this is the same guy that did the Rurouni Kenshin live action movie score (which I absolutely loved and have).
shareLoved the soundtrack, I listened to the end credits while doing other stuff.
