Unbelievable naivety............

First displayed by the agent in the history of Nationalist Chinese take over of Taiwan..It was 1983. Some time had elapsed.......
I also see it on this board.
I have witnessed first hand the disregard at both federal, when I was stationed in Washington, and at the state level in my former position in California.
They are willing to throw anyone, at any time, under the bus if it serves their political purpose.
It is that simple.
We lived on Taiwan in the early 60s and witnessed much of what was seen in the film, but also were entirely aware of their history of assuming power.
To say it is a hate smear against Taiwan if both naive and fraught with the lack of reality.
Real life can be very stark and frightening.
