I haven't seen the first four eps yet, but do you need knowledge of the movie before you watch the 2nd season or is it a continuation of the first season? Haven't watched the movie yet either because I heard it was 90% the same as the first season.

I know this is old and probably doesn't need an answer anymore, but no you don't need to have seen the movie. Yeah, if I remember right, the movie was pretty much a near exact retelling of the first half or so of season one.
