Pictures at the end of the movie

What is up with the pictures at the end of the movie? The whole movie was pretty tame and then all of a sudden they show a picture of a fat guy who gets his dick sucked by an old woman, come on, what's up with that? I'm not sure it was really his own penis or just a prop but still, didn't wanna see that, especially not in a movie that's for 12 year olds and up.

MPAA: "Rated R for pervasive language, sexual content including nudity, and some drug use."

Hell, it's called "The Hangover". It's not a movie made for pre-teens. You sound just like that mom that buys GTA V, then runs back to GameStop a week later screeching "THIS GAME HAS HOOKERS AND VULGAR LANGUAGE AND YOU SHOOT PEOPLE! HOW DARE YOU SELL ME THIS GAME SO I COULD GIVE IT TO MY TEN YEAR OLD SON! WITH A NAME LIKE "GRAND THEFT AUTO", I WAS EXPECTING ONE OF THOSE GAMES WHERE YOU PLAY A CUTE LITTLE PLUMBER AND JUMP ON BRICKS, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS RATED M AND HAD A BUNCH OF WARNINGS ON THE BACK! I'M GOING TO GO COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW HORRIBLE AND MISLEADING IT IS ALL OVER THAT INTERNET PLACE!"

Come on now...

? ?? best response ever!

Since when does an R rating mean a movie is ok for 12-year-olds?

Let him watch the second one. He'll like the tranny stripper scene.

It is rated 12 in some countries in Europe including Iceland and Germany :/ Even 11 in Norway like WTFF! But yeah, it is rated 15 in most countries in Europe tho

reply

And also, on the page where you see this "Rated R for..." blah blah, click the "See all certifications" and you'll see.

reply

Globally it's more a 12 or 15 and up movie, hence the surprise of the OP

reply

Yeah indeed. I just saw it on tv and they said it's for 12+ , luckily for me I was alone.

reply

good points, was still a surpise to seee "those" photos though lol

reply

Erm... The Hangover is rated R. It's a movie aimed at people aged 18 or older. AKA legal adults. Children aren't even allowed to buy a ticket or DVD.

reply

Don't be such an a-hole Ninja-Robot, you don't know where the OP is from. It may well be rated R in North America but there are other countries in the world outside of America and, believe this or not, they all have their own rating systems. Take for example Germany, this film is rated a 12 so contrary to your claim a child CAN buy this dvd. Maybe the OP is from Germany, or one of the other countries that this film is rated 12 in.

reply

Then the OP's issue should be with his/her country's rating system, not the movie itself. It's an American movie with an American rating of R, which clearly means the director did not intend for it to be viewed by 12-year-olds. Otherwise, he would have made a PG or PG-13 movie.

reply

we know who the real a-hole is. so the director is supposed to leave out one of the funniest scenes in the film in case some moron overseas decides to rate it as appropriate for 12 year olds?! There was NOTHING about this movie appropriate for pre-teens. The title alone gives that away!

I would say my memory is not what it used to be. But I don't remember what my memory used to be.

reply

Sounds to me like the problem is not with the movie but with whatever rating system says that this movie is ok for 12 year olds.

reply

It's very frustrating that the pictures at the end of the film are always cut when the film is shown on TV.

reply

Comedy Central showed this movie over the weekend and did NOT show the pictures at the end. How *beep* up is this? The pictures explained the whole movie. How can they be so stupid as to leave it out?

reply

The whole point of the film is that none of them remembered what happened on the night, the pictures are filling it in for us (and them).

reply

I'm surprised they had enough time. They got hungover around eleven. Which means they hit the casino for an hour. Meet up with some ladies, steal Mike tyson's tiger, a marraige, visit the hospital, stole a police car and still had time for a giant party. The timeline doesn't match up.
