At what point did you realize this movie was a 'classic'?

Hey, I know comedy is subjective, and this movie is not for everyone. No problems. Almost every great comedy is disliked by a lot of people.

But for those who really liked this movie, at what point did you go: "Ya, this movie is has got "it".

For me, that's easy. It was when Ed Helms sang the "Doug" song, with a chicken on the piano looking at him. I honestly haven't laughed that hard in a decade and it was just brilliant and beautiful film making to have that scene there. At that point, I realized, wow, this is a "classic".

If you really enjoyed this movie, at what point did you realize this movie had "it"?

When they arrive at Big Rock in the Mojave Desert.

Alan tells Phil to flash their lights to tell them its on.

Phil says whats on?

Alan says the deal.

Phil says of course its on, we just drove 30 miles into the desert

Stu then yells just do something to Phil

Phil flashes the lights and Chow immediately gets out of the car

Such a great back and forth. The timing and pace was awesome.

The Wolfpack speech. The chemistry between those guys just flowed from the beginning. Alan's stuttering was hilarious. Everything about that scene is just perfect.

Definitely Alan's speech on the roof. I knew immediately it was gonna be quoted on a regular basis -like when I did it at my buddy's wedding as the best man speech

There were some funny moments, but I have to disagree strongly with this movie being labeled as a "classic."

Actually read what was written before you write.

This movie really took me by surprise, I expected an average comedy but heck, I was so fĂșcking wrong. It's totally one of my favorites now and I can see it labeled as a classic in the future.
