Here you've got a very sexy charismatic leading man, and he not only has no chemistry with this leading lady, we never get to see his romantic side at all. I still watched the entire season but what a waste of a hottie!!!

Besides, most fans won't want to get them together too soon. They have lots of chemistry, but we all know that acting on it ruins a show.

Personally I liked the fact it was not yet another male+female team where we were just waiting for them to bed each other. It showed a man+woman can work together without just wanting to rutt each others brains out. They had a working chemistry, no need to bring any sexual tension into the mix.
Fringe has a similar interactiveness (can't think of the right word, dammit), and I hope that one doesn't change.
With the only exception that the two leads almost kissed during season 2 *lol*.
Personally I don't think sexual chemistry ruins a show or something. There are shows where it happend (gah, Bones...) but most times I very much enjoy it.
