Entertaining

It is a light-hearted police procedural with some good mystery mixed with improbable but interesting none-the-less science.

However, I can't help but feel sorry for Kuribayashi in every episode.
There's no redeeming quality about that character, he is just pathetic.
But the actor makes him very funny and quite affectionate.
Real pity that the show just uses him as a tool, a tired old cliche made to argue with the detective (Kishitani more so than Utsumi).
