Only one major complaint

I have only one major complaint, but I'll mention a minor one first: Some of the actor's performances were simply not credible, stilted and forced, obviously mentally reading a script (most notably the so-called female FBI agent suspicious of what her dirty compatriot has told her): FBI AGENT SPEAKS INTO PHONE, PACING PENSIVELY: You're in a lot of trouble (CLENCHES JAW IN EFFORT TO MASK DESIRE TO RANT AND RAVE)... that sort of thing. Kind of like watching a well-done college play. The major complaint (please forgive my anal-retentive nature)? While I realize that filming in a location that is geographically divergent from the story-line presents its problems, no effort AT ALL was made to address them in this film beyond that of removing the European (international) Country of Registration stickers from the back of the vehicles. I THINK this was filmed in Germany (I used to live there), and glaringly obvious to me was the missing black-and-white "D" oval on the back right tail...up and to the right from the license plates that are in NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM used in the United States or Canada. No, these plates were like those used in many European countries, long and thin, with decidedly DIFFERENT alphanumerical characters. They were GERMAN license plates, man! And the cop cars? There is no city in the entire country of the United States that uses those [markedly European] models. And the sirens were the final nail in the coffin. NOBODY in the US uses that kind of siren.
However, even with all of my petty complaints, I give the film a "Quite Good" rating, well worth paying to view. Crucial to enjoyment of what is patently fiction is suspended disbelief. The aim of something like this is to entertain, and if you cannot focus on BEING entertained (when reasonable efforts to entertain you are being made), then...what are you doing watching fiction? I think the movie is good enough to pay to own for your home video library.

Filmed in Germany, with French actors playing American FBI agents in America.
