Yeah, it was pretty bad, but....


Most of these reviews are scathing. Yeah, okay, it was bad, the license plates, the accents, the plot, the dialog, omg - the dialog... That's where the problems lie, not so much in the acting but in the script. I'd guess that most of the reviewers each have a handful of favorite actors and think they walk on water. There are probably only a handful of really good actors in the world. 99% of the rest of them just read what's on the page. So the acting here wasn't so bad if you consider they were just reading what they were given, most were miscast (two guys answering a call for FBI agents who were much better suited for KGB agents), and a budget low enough that no one could afford to come up with U.S. plates for the cars. Maybe this was written by some high school students during one of the last writer's strikes. None of this makes the acting that bad, but it does make for a stupid movie.
