Jean only poisoned the adults. She knew the home owners were coming home the next day and the baby was left in its cot to be found by them and presumably returned to his mum in the village.
shareI assume you mean Steph's baby, which was by cot death. In reply to susie, though, in the book Jean also kills Charlie.
