Update on all involved

My aunt unfortunately was at JFK Medical Center for a time as she too was in a coma, just rooms away from Sean, his mom always seemed positive and would even wave at us when we came by (she probably had no idea I knew her from this special which I saw months after my aunt was brought to JFK) I only bring this up, to show that I have some insight on all involved and that I visited JFK several times.

Al'Khan Edwards sadly passed away and is shown in the film.

Sean died January 27, 2009 and there's a fund to his name which raises funds to JFK Medical Center

Tom though still with lingering effects, has had steady improvements as time has gone on, and he did get married to Lynda

Roxy has made a significant recovery and you can see what she looks like now on facebook. I'd say the page, but out of respect of her and her privacy, I don't want to bring attention that she may not want.

I just watched this documentary and immediately began wishing HBO would do a follow-up on the survivors. Thank you very much for posting this Kenny. It was sad but not surprising to learn that Sean passed away.

As those of us who saw the documentary know it said at the end that Sean and Lynda purchased a home together and planned to get married. It's good to know he's still improving and that he married Lynda. I hope they have lots of happiness in their life. They certainly earned it.

Roxy was still in a wheelchair at the end and though it said she went back for more inpatient rehab and was improving I wondered how much improvement would she actually have. I must admit after reading she was on facebook on your post I headed over to the facebook page for the Coma documentary and saw her post there saying she was the girl in the documentary. I visited her facebook page and was absolutely stunned by the photos she's put up. She is absolutely lovely and has made what appears to be a remarkable recovery. This was great to learn.
