Who else fell in love with Jane?

I know, she's really sweet in the novel too, but here she's absolutely delightful. I can't imagine why any man would look twice at Amanda or Lizzy or even Caroline when Jane's nearby. (I was so worried until the last episode that she'd have to stay with Mr. Collins.)

I haven't seen Morven Christie in any other roles, nor does it look like she's done anything to match this, but I hope she has a good career ahead of her!

She had a role in a recent tv version of Oliver Twist. Well worth checking out if you enjoyed Morven Christie in this.

Thanks! I'll be sure to watch it.

She is just so adorable! So beautiful and breathtaking. I really felt for her character especially when Bingley rejected her.

I like her character a lot but I find the actress UGLY. So is Jemima (Amanda).
I thought Gemma (Lizzy) and the actress who played Lydia far more good looking.

I wouldn't say she's ugly. Perhaps she isn't as classically beautiful as Rosamund Pike, but the wig does a great deal to help :) Also, I was thinking while watching this, that I actually prefer Christie's Jane to Pike's, because Christie's warmth and sweetness to others seems so real. In a weird way, even though she marries Collins, she also seems stronger and smarter, she knows what she sacrifices, and makes the choice herself. In this respect, she is is also better than 1995's Susannah Harker, who seemed... duller in a way.

This is my favourite Jane!

She was incredible, and her acting was breathtaking. Plus she is so pretty and appealing and indeed radiant.
