Who are currently your 3 favorite Batman villains and why ?

Whether director Chris Nolan decides to finish up after doing a 3rd film, or
doesn't and agrees to do 6 in total, who are currently your 3 favorite Batman
comic villains and please say why, for each one named. It doesn't at all matter
if any fave villain named, hasn't been covered by any live action Batman film yet.

If any fave Batman villain has been live action or animation depicted, but
you're a much bigger fan of the comic version, that's fine.

1. The Joker- I know it's a little cliche, but he's just simply the best comic book villain. No other villain has complimented their hero so well. He rules, plain and simple.

2. Two-Face- The most tragic of all the villains. He had it all and fell so much from grace. He also had a personal connection with Bruce Wayne which makes it much more personal.

3. Mr Freeze- another tragic villain, and complex in his own way.

I was willing to give you whatever life you wanted...just to keep you out of mine!

1: Joker-Oh sh!t what a shocker! But honestly reading what he has done in the past, his reaction, his mind. It's to say the least insane! Makes you laugh when really you shouldn't, you really see the darker side of things when ironically this man is a clown that's being the tour guide.

2: Black Mask-A character that I hope gets more recognition! Brutal and an insane mobster. Funny as hell, smart, methodical and unlike most villains, insures to get his hands dirty and bloody. If you wrong him, he will make you eat your lovers! Plain and simple as that, plus dude trapped his parents in a burning house for god sakes!

3: Two-face: He's just as tragic as Batman himself, aspired to what was right and fight injustice only to have all(plus acid) spit back on his face, breaking everything he believed in. Where his morality is nothing more than a flip of the coin. Very compelling and interesting. Psychology and physical, his actions, he's train of thought, always a good read.

ScareCrow - mostly because he reminds me of myself. I even took a few quizes, and every time I was most like him. His character is chilling and he has the ability to stike fear into anyone, which is a serious upper hand. Any villain that has the power to make Batman crap his undies is a top mark on my list.

Joker - Has many forms, all of them crazy and fun to explore and analyze. His sense of humor, like mine, is quite dark and tasteless. Whether you cross him in the comics, the movies, the shows, or an alley way, you better believe he'll put a smile on your face.

Two-Face - What I love most about Two-Face is his turn from a high ranking citizen of Gotham to one of the seediest backwash of Gotham. His decisions based solely on the flip of a coin always have me on the edge of my seat wondering what his next move will be. I connect with that as you can never tell what he is going to do... Until the coin drops. Not too mention my mother-in-law is bi-polar so she defines will with this guy.

Scarecrow, the Joker (I didn't like him that much before seeing TDK) and GK made me fall in love with Deadshot.

Death to Videodrome! Long live the new flesh!

The Joker has always been my favorite batman villain just for his psychotic behavior.

Bane - Besides breaking Batmn's back, If you people actually read the comics when he first put his plan into action, he caused supreme mayhem when he freed every villain from Arkham. Batman didn't sleep for 3 nights because he was too busy rounding everyone up. THAT'S A VILLAIN! I'm disappointed they didn't put him in MK vs DC.

Killer Croc - It was awesome seeing him in Gotham Knight, but I didn't like how it was a brief cameo. He's practically the second most villain who's muscle bound. When Bane rolled around, he and Killer Croc went at it and it lasted five pages. It sucks he wasn't in MK vs DC either

Joker- what can I say that hasn't been said already?

Penguin-I'm probably in the minority with this, but because he's practically the king of the underworld and the police can't pin anything on him. Even in the No Man's Land arc, Mr. Cobblepot lived in luxury.

Scarecrow-like Batman, he, too, uses fear as a weapon. And that alone IMO is an interesting contrast.

Bane: to me he is the ultimate foe of Batman (yes Joker too) but Bane has proven to Batman time and time again just how equal they are even though their mindsets are so different. It's scary that Bane and Batman mirror each other.

Scarecrow: Batman's "boogeyman" because he causes the ultimate fear in Bruce. The death of his parents is still fresh in his mind and Scarecrow's fear gas exaggerates this to the point that it leads Bruce in shock and fear, the very element he wants to use against criminals. He may not be physically challenging but the mental state Scarecrow leaves Batman in speaks for itself.

Ra's Al Ghul: a terrorist that if allowed can become the ultimate force of death of Gotham. Batman has to stop him every time and keep him in control to prevent any success from this dangerous man. Not only does the Lazarus Pit helps him to continue causing more mayhem but even Batman can't compete against Ra's Al Ghul's deadly force and dangerous beliefs. He may not be Joker, obviously, but the threats this man continues to bring always have Batman on edge prepared to take him down.

Obviously Killer Croc, Firefly, and Joker are my other favorites but I always loved these three more.

- The Riddler
- The Joker
- Harley Quinn

The Joker because he is Batman's arch nemesis and the quintessential Batman villain. Nobody has hurt Batman more than this clown.

Two Face because he is the most tragic Batman villain. He once was a crusader for Gotham justice and now he is one of it's deadliest villains. Batman lost an ally and a friend when Harvey Dent became Two Face.

Catwoman because she is able to cross the line between goodie and baddie. Nobody stole Bruce's heart like Selina Kyle.

1) Joker-best batman villian, no contest. 2) Catwoman- don't know if she counts as a villain or not but the dynamic between her and batman always adds something extra to their storylines. 3) Hush- I was suprised by his appearence in Arkham City and I would like to see more of him.

You should read his comic book intro story by Jeph Loeb. It's called Hush and it's available in trade paperback so you don't have to go looking for the individual issues.
