I'd like to see a 3-hour long animated Batman film including...

...all the best Gotham villains.

It should be an adult anime done in the same style as "In Darkness Dwells".

They should go all-out and make it something truly special. Perhaps even get Christopher Nolan or Tim Burton on board to direct.

Would anyone else like to see something along these lines? Share your thoughts...!

Three hours might be a bit much. The direct-to-video animated movies are made on a tight budget. $3.5 million is just enough, apparently, for a 70 to 75 minute feature. And I don't see DC Entertainment investing in a 3-hour animated theatrical feature. Still, I would certainly like to see a feature-length animated adaptation of something like The Dark Knight Returns or Kingdom Come without the budgetary restrictions of the direct-to-video productions.

So far i've been pretty impressed with DC Animated and I hope they continue to deliver... but 3 hours might be tough, unless it was like a huge theatrical release with some CG, i could see that. Kingdom Come: Yes. Dark Knight Returns: not nescesary.

Again, that would be sick, but I think if they could make them a little longer, they would. If 3.5 mil only get you 75 min, it would be alot of money, but if it was my mont, Id be all for it.

I would love to see something like this. As long as the story is well written and the pace is done right it could be an amazing anime movie.

Three hours is too long even for a live action Batman movie.

We're getting the animated The Dark Knight Returns in two 75-minute parts: 150 min. (2-1/2 hours). That's close enough to three hours for you to have your wish.

I would like to see either contagion or no mans land made as a two hour movie instead of a run of the mill 75 min. video.
