Why did Samson?

I guess I missed it but why did Samson not have prison tattoos on his body?

reply

That way he couldn't be officially linked to anyone. The skinny guy was explaining this to the main character on the bus.

The name is Stephen and I'm male.
Fear me, Love me, do as I say, and I'll be your slave.

That Samson character was one serious badass, looked a bit like Christian Bale too.

Always ask yourself :"What would Neil Patrick Harris do ?"

reply

That's Chris Browning. He's awesome. He's in Cowboys and Aliens this summer. (Also, he worked with Bale twice, in 3:10 to Yuma and Terminator Salvation.)

When you get jumped into a brotherhood, and a soldier you immediately have to start putting in work. Whether it's beating the crap out of someone, holding on to dope for them to sell(so that you get pinned with the extra charge if they find it), slanging dope, or straight out killing someone. Each completed task or tasks gains you trust, respect, and ranking. With each one of those there are correlating tats that you are allowed, and I mean allowed, to get. If someone has tattoos that have symbolism to the brotherhood and you haven't EARNED them, they'll take them off for you. Whether it's burning it off, slicing it off, or just taking you out all together, because if you're six feet under no one's going to see them anyways. With each badge of honor(tattoos) you, with the permission of higher ups, don't HAVE TO get the tattoos. Some people are also selected to stay stealth so that their file remains non-affiliated so they can get places no one else could.

exactly, I've done two years in a minimum security prison and one of fellow inmates was a very young guy who looked like he's never done anything wrong in his life. He stayed away from everyone pretty much and gained the respect from the guards and got extra permissions because his job inside was to maintain the front entrance area. Well when I was there for about 15 months I noticed that he was more than a perfect inmate, because of his access to what he had he was running drugs into the prison with the help of a guard or two. He would have a cleaning cart that he would bring to the front area to clean that area. Seeing he was trusted and the guards never thought he would do anything to jeopardies his time there, he hid all the drugs in his cart because they never checked him or his cart after he went back to Gen Pop. When I was there for a while I friended one of the heads of my race and he described the kid as the perfect criminal because no one would ever expect him to be doing what he was doing so he was pretty much invisible. Someone else made a theory that he was only there for that reason, because a kid his size and age with no record going to prison for "assault" was pretty surprising.

Tf? So it's really like that? Every "race" has its head and you can only hang out with people of your race? Sounds boring.

People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefsī²

not boring

the way I was told is that you keep to your race because most people in prison are racist and want to keep to themselves and their race. If all of a sudden a race war breaks out your race is your only ally, but if your best friend is someone of the race you are fighting not much are you going to want to attack him? is that issue which is why they you keep to your race. Don't want the guy next to you not doing what he should because he doesn't want to fight his friend.
