From not stopping a grnnpa to beating criminals

The character build up is just ridiculous.He want from not being able to stop a elderly man in a wheel chair and gotten the cr*p beaten out of him by a fat chick.And than towards the end of the movie he suddenly can stop a entire group of fast, guns wearing group of criminals...

I think that Blart is too chivalrous to be rough on women and the elderly. Whereas he loses his chivalry and inadequacy when taking on the heavies.
