Paul Blart Vs. Observe and Report

I'm guessing this has been discussed before...

Both films are almost identical, but "Observe and Report" has a slightly higher rating.

I love both Kevin James & Seth Rogan as comic actors, Seth has done more movies, however "Observe and Report" was a bit too dark for me. It was basically someone with clear learning difficulties trying to be a cop... Paul Blart was pretty much the same except no clear learning difficulties, just medical.

"Observe and Report" was a 'dark comedy', and often too dark, deducting from the humor. "Paul Blart" was comedy through & through... so my vote goes to Paul Blart.
