I just saw the trailer for this and it loooked like a comedy movie: but it turns out it isn't.
But what you just described completely reminded me of a scene from the American TV Show also called 'Heroes'.
An Indian scientist Mohinder Suresh injects himself with a kind of formula or serum, which sort of gives him superpowers - he gets strong, his senses are heightened, he crawls on the walls, etc. and then sleeps with Maya (who's Spanish). When he wakes up, he looks in the mirror and I think his skin starts going weird or something, I kind of missed that bit.
If they were gonna copy somthing, you think they would have at least chosen a different name.
I watched a bit of 'The Fly' too, and it reminds me of the part where she's shocked to see him all sort of mutated and crawling on the walls. Bleh.

shareWell, first of all, that's from the TV-show called heroes, and yes, I noticed the huge similiarities with The Fly too. After doing some research on it, the creators of the show did say that all of it was intentional. A tribute, you might say.
