why are some things 'worse' in kane's wrath....

i thought the whole point of an expansion pack like this was it improves on everything the original had

well while this is the case for most things in the game, theres a few things that, bizarrely, the developers seemed to go out of their way to make worse

the main thing i'm finding frustrating is this:

how come i can no longer build 2 laser turrets at once, even though i've got a construction yard and a crane? in C&C3 my first move would be to build a crane so i could build 2 bulidings at once and immediately start building 1 turret and 1 AA battery - now when i cue up 1 turret i go into the crane's build cue and all i can build is a silo and an air support building - WHY?! this is so retarded, i can't figure out why they would actually REMOVE something like this

does anyone know why they did it, or dare i ask, if there is a way to build 2 at a time?

another slight irritence is not been able to select, say, all my riflemen on the battlefield by using the menu - before you could select everything, a pane showing all your different units would show up and you could go through them and choose just say, all annihilator tripods and leave everything deselected - now you can't do that, or rather, you can "select" them in the menu, but it doesn't do anything....

ok, i don't know where your hostility comes from, if you think because someone plays a particular console they are "retarded" then you must be a particularly retarded individual yourself

you sir, are a cock

and how exactly, does the fact that i'm playing the 360 version, "discredit" everything i said?

and if youre gonna be childish and start insulting people you dont know, calling them retarded for no other reason than "they play 360" (which is a fu*king pathetic reason) then at least TRY and get your sentances to make sense:

"The updates for the PC of CnC 3, they took off the ability to make muli, base turrets because of base walking which is not what the game was not built to do."

at least i can speak basic english

secondly, that answer has nothing to do with what i asked - you could never "base walk" with gun turrets in C&C3, reducing the amount of build cues for turrets to 1 makes NO DIFFERENCE regarding base walking - the only way your argument makes sense is if youre talking about the type of base walking where you literally move your construction vehicle into their base, in which case it makes no difference, you can still do that, how the hell does only having 1 build cue stop this happening?....don't try and sound clever when you're obviously not, you don't even hold a basic understanding of the subject you claim to know so much about....idiot

it never ceases to amaze me the amount of dumbass console fanboys are still out there - you have the mentality of 12 year olds and your whole attitude is an afront to video games - as a console fanboy you have no right to call anyone else retarded, console fanboys are the biggest retards there is

if anyone else has an intelligent response to my original post then please do respond, otherwise take your immature retarded comments elsewhere, as no one wants to hear them

First of all, any RTS for a console is crap due to the fact the way the controls are set up.
Did you know that you are an arrogant PC elitist who has too much unwarranted pride to admit it? I've played RTS games on my PC for many years, and I didn't have a protest with playing some of them on the consoles. It's somewhat like playing FPS games on a console. The controls take some getting used to at first, especially if you're accustomed to keyboard and mouse, but stick with it and it definitely becomes fun and playable. That's the whole point of a video game. It's not to show who or what's better than the other; but rather to give the gamer an enjoyable experience with minimal inconvenience. So stop this "I'm right, you're wrong" attitude and let people enjoy games the way they like to play them.

By the way, I'm sure you have plenty of time to check your spelling and grammar. The messages you post may not be brief, but they shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to write. It's likely that you don't care all that much about proper writing mechanics, but rather are concerned about others being able to understand the message you want to communicate.

Other than that, you're right about the turrets.
